Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or DHL with tracking information available or via USPS for P.O. Box destinations. For orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and ALL International destinations (there's no where we won't ship!) rates are calculated at checkout based on live rates from the United States Postal Service and product weight information. BD's Story:
BurkeDecor.com was created by Erin E. Burke in September 2007. A lover of renovations, Erin was working on a re-development project in post-Katrina New Orleans when a scarcity of construction resources (beyond the basic Lowes' and Home Depot offering) pushed her online to purchase fixtures, wallpapers and cabinetry. Having to spend extensive amounts of time sourcing products on the web through a multitude of sites, Erin became interested in the notion of creating an exclusive shoppe online for decor she loved...all in one place and with a cohesive style. Although BurkeDecor's online home decor catalog has grown extensively, our company remains committed to offering customers a boutique-style shopping experience online.
Erin has a background in Economics, Real Estate, Decorating and Poetry. In addition to Burke Decor LLC, she's involved in managing Truck World Inc. a petroleum-marketing company based in the Youngstown, Ohio area.
Burke Decor LLC is a privately-held organization run by women.
The BurkeDecor enterprise is dedicated to and spirited by Colin Michael Burke (March 23, 1981-2008), a young entrepreneur and loving brother who passed out of this life too soon.
